Playtech updates its iPoker online poker network

As part of the continuous improvement of its products, leading online gaming software producer Playtech has released a software update full of rich features for its iPoker online poker network clients.

Using the new multi-currency option, players are now able to play and enter tournaments without worrying about currency conversion. This option is available for players using UK Pounds, US Dollars and Euro.

Besides this multi-currency option, Playtech has introduced improvements to the design of the client side software (the game platform installed on your PC). The game selection screen and loading process is easier and faster than ever. In addition, account recharge can now be done automatically and the time-bank option was added to tournaments.

Time banking, one of the latest innovations introduced in online poker, provides players with bonus time they can use during tournament play. This time-bank can either be used once, or multiple times up to a certain time limit, depending on the poker room rules.
